AutoFun VDM EX4 HX (3.5mm, 2026)

Autofun VDM EX4 HX is a multilayer vibration-damping material for high-vibration areas such as floors, bulkheads and wheel arches. It is intended to control panel resonance as part of a cabin-comfort or car-audio installation.

Its sandwich-style construction combines butyl-rubber-based polymer and aluminium foil layers with a self-adhesive installation surface. This layered structure gives installers a distinct damping option for demanding panel areas; use the specifications and available installation space to decide whether its build-up suits the treatment.

Apply to clean, dry surfaces. Do not install on corroded metal. Prepare and degrease the surface with a suitable cleaner, then allow it to dry completely. Remove the release paper, press the material onto the surface and roll from the centre towards the edges to remove trapped air. Recommended installation temperature: +18 to +35°C.

Material should be stored inside at temperature not higher than +40°С in horizontal position on a flat surface at a distance not less than 1 m from any heating systems; avoid any wet conditions and contacts with oils and direct sun. Do not stack the materials more than 1.2m in height.
