AutoFun VDM M3 HX (2.6mm, 2026)

Autofun VDM M3 HX is a vibration-damping material intended for more heavily vibrating vehicle areas, including the floor, bulkhead and wheel arches. It helps control panel resonance in these areas as the first part of a layered noise treatment.

The material combines a butyl-rubber-based polymer layer, self-adhesive backing and an aluminium foil finish. Its flexible sheet construction allows it to follow prepared panel surfaces. Use it for the higher-vibration areas being treated, then add separate absorption or insulation layers where needed.

Apply to clean, dry surfaces. Do not install on corroded metal. Prepare and degrease the surface with a suitable cleaner, then allow it to dry completely. Remove the release paper, press the material onto the surface and roll from the centre towards the edges to remove trapped air. Recommended installation temperature: +18 to +35°C.

Material should be stored inside at temperature not higher than +40°С in horizontal position on a flat surface at a distance not less than 1 m from any heating systems; avoid any wet conditions and contacts with oils and direct sun. Do not stack the materials more than 1.2m in height.
